Big Happenings In Johnson County
I love reading the Buffalo Bulletin, the newspaper for Johnson County. The articles are objective and often downright positive. I can find out who was fined for what, check how many people were transported by ambulance and when, see who got married, and best of all, review the rolling log.
For example, in the August 25 Buffalo Bulletin:
Roping steers were at milepost 13 on Sussex road.
Two mules and a miniature horse were reported out near Trabing Road.
A 911 call was received from the Kaycee Sinclair area asking how much further it was to the next town to the north.
A 911 call was received about a man walking eastbound between milepost 63 and 64 on I-90 who appeared to have no water.
An abandoned bike was found leaning against the track bleachers at George Grace Field and placed in the bike impound yard.
A vehicle was southbound in the northbound lane on I-25 at milepost 263. The driver was able to move into the correct lane of travel.
This kind of news makes me feel more at home, and affirms that we made the right decision to move to Wyoming. And the Buffalo Bulletin is definitely journalism at its best.
